About
I am a PhD student in Computer Science at the University of Maryland, where I am fortunate to be co-advised by Mohammad Hajiaghayi and Laxman Dhulipala.
I am interested in the design and analysis of algorithms, with a focus on modern computational settings such as parallel and distributed computing, decision-making under uncertainty, and dynamic algorithms (see also my research page).
I am grateful to the Italy-US Fulbright Program for funding my first year of PhD.
Prior to my PhD pursuit, I completed my Master’s in Computer Science at ETH Zurich, with a thesis on parallel and distributed algorithms advised by Mohsen Ghaffari, working with Manuela Fischer and Christoph Grunau. Earlier, I graduated summa cum laude from the University of Genoa with a BS in Computer Science and Engineering.
I worked on research and software engineering projects during my internships at Google Zurich in the Graph Mining team hosted by Hendrik Fichtenberger (2023), Amazon Luxembourg in ATS hosted by Ugo Rosolia (2022-23), Max Planck Institute for Informatics hosted by Andreas Karrenbauer (2021), Meta in the Events and Escalation Team (2021) and Amazon in the Global Talent Development Org (2020).
I served as the Lead of the Google Developer Student Club Zurich, a community group around science and technology of over 1100 students, for two years (2021-23). I got featured in this blogpost!
